Annual Halloween Art Exhibit™ is a national showcase of
original, collectible Halloween art by today's top &
upcoming talents! Come celebrate & explore the theme of
Halloween in all forms of creative media. Collectors of
one-of-a-kind Halloween artworks are invited to browse
the ghastly Gallery online.
To celebrate, educate, entertain & explore the
expression of Halloween themes as fine art, in all forms
of creative media. This exhibit is the result of the
collaborative efforts of artists around the country.
Out
of their love of Halloween, their desire to explore this
multi-cultural theme, to present the art & history to
the greater public, this is a venue that has continued
to progress a decade strong!
We
hope to continue giving Halloween enthusiasts, art
lovers, collectors, supporters & friends a most
comprehensive exhibit, always answering the
question..."What is and why do we celebrate Halloween?"
for many years to come....
The
Annual Halloween Art Exhibit had it's humble beginnings
in Chicago's Flat Iron Arts Building, with nothing more
than a few small paintings, a bowl of candy, and a
spooky record on the phonograph. As more and more
Halloween fans visited the show, we realized that our
dream of a full scale gallery style exhibit could be
accomplished with dedication to quality and creativity..
Many
of you have asked, "Why does someone present a Halloween
Art Exhibit?" Does it take a desire to express fondness
for all things ghoulish and spooky? Or perhaps some
repressed fantasy about reclaiming those early childhood
years? The answer would be "Yes", but not that simply.
To elaborate, we must first understand its creator's
background...
A decade of fine Halloween art! The 10th anniversary of
The Annual Halloween Art Exhibit™ - St Paul Cultural
Center - 2215 W. North Ave, Chicago. Opening Reception
Saturday, Oct. 18th, 7 - 11 pm. Costume Ball/ Closing
Reception Saturday, Oct. 25th, 7 - Midnight. Special
Performances TBA.

with fresh offerings from your favorite HAE artists.
