There's a new serial killer in town and no
one is safe - Could you be the next victim or are you the killer?
The serial killer in the Scream
movies wore a Halloween costume called "Ghostface". It was a combination
of a stretched ghost like Halloween mask and the black robe of the Grim
Reaper.
Scream Ghostface Mask &
Costume
The Ghostface costumes commercially made as a Halloween costume
typically include the black hooded robe with jagged sleeves, a black belt and
the classic Ghostface mask.
You can find it in plain
black polyester or a glittery type, like the one in the movie. Both are
fine since the original costume was a black polyester hooded robe. The
one used for the movie was a higher quality costume and the material had
a glittery look to it, which gave it a classier feel but not a classic
one.
The nice thing about this
costume is that you don't need makeup or a lot of accessories. Just add
a pair of black boots or shoes, the voice changer box seen blow and a
fake chef's knife with enclosed blood.
Even though these movies
have been around for a while, this costume is sure to scare if you start
chasing people around at a Halloween party. The plus is, they'll never
know that it's you!
Voice Changer
The Ghostface clad killer often called his would-be victims on the
phone, taunting or threatening them before stabbing them to death with a
large hunting knife.
The "Voice Changer" allows you to sound like a Monster voice, Alien
voice or Scream Stalker voice all in one item. A small microphone fits
under the mask and the speaker fits under the costume. It's the perfect
accessory to the Ghostface costume. All you need is the Bloody Knife
below and your set to go!
Bloody Knife
This Halloween prop knife makes a perfect accessory for the Scream
costume. You can turn upside down and watch the fake blood ooze within.
This fake knife measures 2.5" by 13.5".
A fun thing to do is throw
a Scream themed Halloween party! Everyone has to come dressed like
Ghostface, have the movies playing on a TV or monitor all night and just
have fun with a room full of Ghostfaces! Maybe you should ask a
few people to come dress as victims, after all, what fun would it be
without victims?
