Michael, Jason, Freddy, Dracula, the
Wolfman, Frankenstein, ghouls, ghosts, goblins, gremlins! You name it, there's a film
about it. Scary movies are the main-stay of
Halloween and Horror fans. They help boost our morale during the off season and infuse it
during our favorite month of the year, October.
Horror films also give us an outlet for
our aggressions and fears in a safe way. Everyone loves to be scared in a
non-threatening way be it
at an amusement park or a theater or in front of a computer screen playing a game. We all just love a good scream once in
a while, don't we?
Below are some of our favorite spooky
movies and television series, suggestions and upcoming releases.

Fun and
Frights on the Web
Whether getting ready to slap on a ghoulish grin or a bright red nose, monsters and clowns
alike should head to the Net for some scary laughs and fun. We've put together a few
devilish delights to help you get into the spooky spirit.
For pretty much everything else you could possibly want, surf over to
Halloween-Online.com, a site that bills itself
as the "Internet's largest Halloween resource." The site lives up to the lofty
claim handily, offering articles on subjects like pumpkin carving, how to create a haunted
yard, a safety guide and more, all with illustrative pictures and purchase links.
Our favorite feature on the site is the "Fearful Films" section, which can
also be reached at FearfulFilms.com,
a database of scary films organized by topic vampires, witches, ghosts, zombies and
the like with short reviews and a skull rating system! Perfect for selecting a film
for a fright-filled night!

Michael Anderson was born in Huron, South

This wonderful actor
has performed in numerous roles including what
we think are his most notable
roles in Twin Peaks, Picket Fences,
The X-Files, Charmed and Carnivāle.
The
three-and-a-half-foot-tall actor height is due
to a bone condition called osteogenesis
imperfecta. He has the unusual ability to talk
